APOA2 stabilizes the HDL structure by its relationship with lipids, and plays a role in the HDLMetabolism. APOA2 is the 2nd most abundant protein of the high density lipoprotein particles. APOA2 is localized in plasma as a monomer, homodimer, or heterodimer with Apoliprotein D. Defects in APOA2 gene might cause Apoliprotein A-II deficiency or hypercholesterolemia.
Apoliprotein A-II, Apo-AII, ApoA-II, APOA2.
APOA2 is supplied as a sterile filtered colorless solution.
The APOA2 1mg/ml solution contains 10mM Ammonium Bicarbonate at pH7.4.
APOA2 althoµgh stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. For long term storage of APOA2 it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
