| Introduction | CCNB2 is a member of the cyclin family. CCNB2 is vital for regulation of the cell cycle at the G2/M (mitosis) transition. CCNB2 cooperates with the CDK1 protein kinase to create a serine/threonine kinase holoenzyme complex recognized as maturation promoting factor (MPF). |
