| Introduction | HSPA6 is a distinctive member of the human Hsp70 chaperone that takes part in cellular processes such as protein trafficking, folding, and prevention of aggregation. HSPA6 is strictly stress-inducible, having little or no basal expression levels in most cells. HSPA6 and HSP72 are are involved in cell survival of proteotoxic stress. |
