| Introduction | TSNAX is a member of translin family. TSNAX particularly interacts with translin, a DNA-binding protein that binds consensus sequences at breakpoint junctions of chromosomal translocations. TSNAX works in combination with TSN as an endonuclease involves in the activation of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). TSNAX has bipartite nuclear targeting sequences that afford nuclear transport for translin, which lacks any nuclear targeting motifs. |
