YEATS4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 250 amino acids (1-227 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 28.9kDa. YEATS4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
YEATS Domain Containing 4 (YEATS4) has a high sequence homology to the human MLLT1, and yeast and human MLLT3 proteins. MLLT1 and MLLT3 proteins, both belong to a group of transcription factors, which indicates that YEATS might also represent a transcription factor. YEATS is believed to be necessary for RNA transcription. The YEATS gene has been shown to be amplified in tumors.
